    Tuition & Fees

    As an independent school, The Pegasus School does not receive funding from local or state government. To offset educational expenses, we charge tuition for each student.

    2012-2013 Tuition

    Pre-Kindergarten –Eighth Grades: $17,120
    Additional Fees for K-5th
    School Supplies: Costs vary per year
    Lunch Program: Optional
    Extended Day Program: Optional
    Fourth Grade Field Trips $200
    Fifth Grade Field Trip $500

    Additional Fees for Sixth – Eighth Grades
    Books: Cost varies

    Outdoor Education Fee: The one-week outdoor educational program is part of the curriculum, and all students are expected to participate.

    Sixth Grade: $475(Astro Camp, Idyllwild)

    Seventh Grade: $500 (Catalina Environmental Leadership Program)

    Eight Grade: $925 (Yosemite Institute)

    Athletics Fee (optional): $250 per sport. Sports are offered in the fall, winter and spring.

    Graduation Fee: $175
    Payment Options
    New students:
    Contracts are mailed in early March and are due April 1 with an initial payment of 20%.

    Tuition Payments:
    Checks, cash, and credit cards (Master Card, Visa, and Discover) are accepted for tuition payments. There are three payment options:

    Annual:
    June 1
    Semi-Annual:
    June 1 - October 1
    Monthly:
    June 1 -  February 1

    Tuition is payable in accordance with the tuition contract and no portion of the tuition will be refunded due to withdrawals or dismissals.
