| | Jog-a-Thon
Sponsored by the PTO, the annual Jog-a-Thon is a school wide fundraiser held each fall. Students take on the challenge of obtaining pledges in support of their 5k or shorter (for the little ones) walk. Last year our students donned their halloween costumes and paraded around campus. Our community spirit comes alive with all our students, their parents, grandparents and teachers walking together to raise funds for classroom enhancements and exciting student assemblies. |
End of Year Party
The End of the Year Party is a PTO sponsored event that everyone in the school community looks forward to in June. All students and parents participate in fun games and academically enriched activities to celebrate the closing of the school year.

Flag Salutes
Our school wide assemblies, or "flag salutes", are traditionally held the first Monday of each month in the quad. Students, faculty, and parents gather as a community to celebrate our school, group and individual accomplishments and honors. Each flag salute is hosted by a designated grade level where students perform as a group for their fellow students.

Grandparents’ / Special Friends’ Day
Sponsored by the PTO, Grandparents’ / Special Friends’ Day is a December tradition enjoyed by the entire student body, faculty and their grandparents or special friends. Our special guests are treated to a lovely breakfast, followed by the lower school Winter Concert and break out sessions where they can learn more about our school. The day ends with special time in their students’ classrooms.

Harvest Ingathering
November is a time for us to reflect on how fortunate we are and to be thankful for our many blessings. At Pegasus, November is a time to give to our community. Our Harvest Ingathering is a time for students and their families to collectively provide non perishables and other necessities to the Someone Cares Soup Kitchen, a local non-profit organization serving the hungry. Although many local businesses contribute to this soup kitchen, our school continues to be the largest single contributor to this organization.

Spirit Week / Talent Show
Our PTO sponsors Spirit Week each spring to celebrate the creative and energetic spirit of Pegasus. Each day has a theme such as “favorite hat day”, “sports day,” “crazy hair day,” “global awareness day,” etc. A special and eagerly awaited tradition is the lunch time talent show where student performers shine. The week concludes with the Pegasus Olympics during which all students enjoy a variety of athletic events, including the middle school faculty/student softball game.

Winter and Spring Concerts
Precious voices, dramatic dance and melodic tunes fill our theater each December as students perform in the Winter Concert. Our entire Pegasus community is invited to an evening performance, followed the next week by a morning performance just for grandparents and special friends. The Spring Concert, normally held in May, is also an entertaining blend of talented voices, dance and musical performances.
