 Acting for Film and Television This class is for anyone who has ever wanted to act or thought about pursuing acting. The
class is designed to give you a foundation and help you discover the actor inside you and
build confidence. We will cover the basics of acting from terms used in the industry to
improvisation to exercises designed to help you get in touch with your emotions and
impulses. There is more to being an actor than just memorizing lines and this class will
give you a strong foundation to build on to become a more accomplished actor.
All students will receive information about industry lingo, tips on how to avoid scams, and
where to find reputable representation. |

 Chess Hands-on play will bring about sportsmanship, strategies and sharp tactics including pins, traps and double attacks. Planning the opening, middle game and end game will offer your child different ideas, concepts and solutions. Intermediate-advanced students will learn notation and the use of chess clocks to prepare for competition.

 Children's Center for Emotional Intelligence CCEI is now offering an enrichment program to 4th and 5th grade girls entitled Surviving and Thriving Growing Up in the OC. It is a fun, interactive program designed to help girls become more emotionally intelligent. Topics include (but are not limited to) awareness of feelings, self-care strategies, confronting meanness, coping with stress, how to pick and be a good friend, sensitivity to others, positive self-talk and goal setting. |

 Creative Writing Creative Writing 4th & 5th Graders
Shake off the chills and get charged by the thrills of creative writing with this fun creative writing workshop created by R.L. Stine. Following Stine’s steps, you’ll
learn how to shop your personal idea store to develop mystery, fantasy, sci-fi, realistic or historical fiction and personal non-fiction stories. Create fascinating
characters and exciting plots or your own amusing memoirs. Use your notebook and favorite pens to make your stories come alive!
Creative Writing 6th-8th Graders
Discover and celebrate your hidden muse in this fun creative writing workshop. Write about your fondest friends and family, your special places and deepest moods in a variety of prose and poetic styles. Shop your personal idea store to develop mystery,fantasy, sci-fi, realistic or historical fiction and personal non-fiction stories. Create fascinating characters and exciting plots or pen your own amusing memoirs. The choice is yours. Bring your favorite writing journal or a composition notebook and your favorite pen and writing tools. You’ll illustrate and finalize your favorite pieces to share during our last class’s writers’ café. |

 Fairy Tale Theater Encourages the children to express themselves through language, movement, song and play! They learn about characters, plot, voice, music and movement. Costumes are provided as they act out their favorite stories through guided improvisation. There will be a show for family and friends at the end of the session |

 Fine Art  Fine art classes are designed for beginners and experienced artists. Younger students focus on developing their fine motor and pre-reading skills through tracking and perception of shapes and letters. More advanced students continue to hone their artist skills and explore various drawing media.

 Homework Club  The Homework Club is designed to help students in fourth and fifth grades begin their short and long term assignments and organize their agenda. This is ideal for students who want to get a head start on their homework and get additional teacher assistance. The fee is $400 per trimester. |

 Mandarin Chinese Children will learn basic Chinese pin-yin (simple Chinese alphabet pronunciation system). They will also learn basic Mandarin Chinese concepts, simple sentence patterns and conversations through Chinese songs, storytelling, games, role play, movies and other fun activities. |

 Music Each class includes caring instruction in singing, playing instruments, musical notation, basic music theory,
movement to music and listening skills. |

 Multimedia These days almost everyone has a camera and access to the internet, so how can you make your presentation stand out from the rest? Learn to “Put It All Together” in this intensive, multimedia immersion course. Students will unite different strands of media – video, audio, graphic design, scriptwriting – into one finished project. Along the way, students will learn the fundamentals of videography, sound recording and visual storytelling through programs such as Reason, GarageBand and imovie. |

 Running Club The Pegasus Running Club provides a safe and healthy environment for kids in grades K - 5 to build stamina, strength and self-esteem. Activities include sprints, trail runs, obstacle courses, relays, and plenty of team spirit. Kids are encouraged to run 25.2 training miles and participate in a local road race to complete a cumulative marathon and earn a Pegasus Marathon Medal. |

 Tae Kwon Do  Good habits start early with students in pre-kindergarten through second grade. Children will develop coordination, motor skills, and lengthened attention span. Respect, as well as fitness, is accomplished through this instruction.

 Tumbling Children will hone their motor skills through different activities such as the trampoline, parachute, streamers, ball activities and other games to develop both the large and small motor development. |

 Webby Dance Our professional and caring instructors will introduce your child to beginning tap, ballet, rhythm/movement and tumbling skills. We provide age-appropriate music, fun props and an action packed class! Children will benefit by building their: memory, coordination, concentration, creativity and self-confidence. |

 Extended Day The Extended Day Program is ideal for families who need early morning or after school child care. The program offers social interaction, outside play, and fun inside the classroom. Students are encouraged to work on homework or projects independently or in small groups.

 Yoga To help boys and girls increase strength, focus, and flexibility while learning basic yoga poses stretching and relaxation breathing. Class is taught by a certified yoga instructor. |
