Search Committee Members

The Search Committee brings diverse experience, varied skills, and broad community representation to the process, assuring we find the right candidate for Pegasus.  The search committee will review candidate resumes, interview promising candidates, speak to references, select finalists, and recommend the next Head of School for the Board to hire.

  • Marc Schneider (Past Annual Fund Chair, Trustee, Chair of the Legal Advisory Committee, Board Chair-Elect (2023–2024), and Chair of the Head of School Search Committee) 

    Marc J. Schneider is a Business and Securities Litigation Shareholder and Member of the Management Committee of Stradling Yocca Carlson & Rauth. In addition to general business litigation, Marc regularly defends Orange County companies, directors and officers, and private equity firms in federal and state courts in securities class actions, derivative suits, merger and acquisition litigation, and government investigations.  He has numerous trial wins under his belt, including in multiple matters with more than $100 million at issue.  Marc has been selected by his peers repeatedly for “Best Lawyers” lists, including as one of the Top 50 lawyers in Orange County.  Marc brings to the Pegasus Board deep legal expertise, as well as experience in corporate governance, non-profit fundraising, and community building.

    Marc’s leadership in both the Orange County legal and philanthropic communities has been recognized with the Marcus J. Kaufman Jurisprudence Award.  Among other community commitments, Marc currently serves as Vice Chair of the Board of the Johns Hopkins Center for Talented Youth, on the Executive Committee of the CEO Leadership Alliance of Orange County, and on the Sonenshine Pro Bono Reception Committee, and previously served as Chair of the Board of the Orange County Region of the Anti-Defamation League and on the boards of the OC Tech Alliance and Temple Bat Yahm.  For Pegasus, Marc currently serves as Chair of the Legal Committee, previously served as Captain of the Pacific Princess Crew and on the Development Committee, and, with his wife Elena, previously served as Co-Chair of the On Golden Wings Campaign and received the Founders Award. 

    Marc lives with his wife, Elena, in Newport Beach, and with his two daughters Sabina (A '20 Alumna) and Mila ('24).

  • Diem Dang (Trustee and Board Chair)

    Diem-Trang is a former senior director for global specialty pharmaceutical companies, including Valeant Pharmaceuticals, Inc. and Elan Corporation, plc. She held various management positions, in which she was responsible for the following: completing product and company acquisitions and prescription drug licensing in U.S. and ex-U.S. territories; developing U.S. commercial plans; launching F.D.A. (U.S. Food and Drug Administration) approved medicines; and, strategic partnering on co-marketing joint ventures. Additionally, Diem-Trang consults privately for U.S. specialty pharmaceutical start-up companies.

    Diem-Trang holds a B.S. in Biochemistry from University of California, Riverside and an MBA from San Diego State University.

    Diem-Trang was born in Saigon, Vietnam. She has two children, Pegasus alumnus Baominh (’21) and Minhkha (’24), and has been a member of the Pegasus community since 2010. Diem-Trang and her family currently reside in Irvine.

  • Reynolds Bish (Trustee, Chair of the Capital Campaign Advisory Committee, and Chair of the Audit Committee)

    Reynolds has served as CEO and director of Kofax Limited, an intelligent automation software provider located in Irvine, California since 2017, and previously served in that capacity from 2007-2015. He is also a director of Diebold Nixdorf, Inc., a publicly held technology company, and was formerly a director of three publicly held enterprise software companies. Based upon his prior positions as CEO and CFO, Reynolds brings substantial relevant experience to the Board. 

    In 2003, Reynolds was named an Entrepreneur of the Year by Ernst & Young and in 2008, he was named Director of the Year by the Corporate Directors Forum. He holds a B.S. in Business Administration from Pennsylvania State University and has been a CPA in the State of California.

    Reynolds lives in Irvine with his wife, In Soon Nam, and their two daughters, Mackenzie (’26) and Devon (’28).

  • Meredith Chandra (Past President of the Parent Teacher Organization and Trustee)

    Meredith Chandra served on the PTO Executive Committee for three years prior to becoming PTO President for the 2021-2022 school year. Her previous PTO positions include Vice President/President Elect, Vice President of Events, and Room Parent Coordinator. Before joining the PTO Executive Committee, Meredith volunteered in numerous capacities at Pegasus: serving as a room parent for several years, a Parent Ambassador, and has participated in almost every PTO event in one way or another throughout her time as a Pegasus parent. Additionally, Meredith has also been involved with the Spring Benefit for many years and was a friend of the Development Committee during her role as PTO Vice President. 

    Meredith grew up in Missouri and attended Washington University in St. Louis, graduating with a BSBA in Marketing and International Business. After graduation, she moved to Chicago and
    worked for eight years at advertising giant Leo Burnett, managing the execution of email and direct marketing campaigns for clients such as Kellogg’s, McDonald’s, and Philip Morris. Prior to settling in Orange County, Meredith also spent three years in New York City.  

    Meredith and her husband, Mike, live in Corona del Mar with their two daughters Olivia (’26) and Claire (’29), both of whom are current Pegasus students.

  • Chressa Fancher (Third Grade Teacher)

    Chressa joined the Pegasus community in 2001. She holds a B.A. in Child Development from Cal State University, Northridge and a Multiple Subject Teaching Credential. As a third-grade teacher, Chressa loves watching Pegasus students develop independence and responsibility. Daily smiles, laughter, and hugs, while nurturing positive individual growth, explains her ongoing passion for teaching. 

    She enjoys spending time with her husband, family and friends, traveling, swimming, reading, and watching sports.
     
  • Darin Glasser (Trustee, Chair of the Governance Committee, and Board Vice-Chair)

    Originally from Michigan, Darin earned a B.A. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Michigan and a J.D. from Duke University School of Law, where he met his wife, Lisa.  Following law school, Darin spent 10 years as a litigator in the Newport Beach office of O’Melveny & Myers, focusing on patent litigation representing multinational corporations in gaming, electronic devices, and biomedical technologies.

    Darin’s volunteer activities at Pegasus include: Teacher Wish List, RUN.GIVE.SERVE., Golf Social, and First Day Social. Darin is also active in the local youth baseball league, serving as a Board Member and Treasurer for the Newport Beach Baseball Association since 2017. 

    Darin and his wife reside in Newport Coast with their two children, Pegasus alumnus, Justin ('22) and current student, Taylor (’25), both of whom started Pegasus in pre-K. In his free time, Darin enjoys playing softball, coaching baseball, and struggling at golf.

  • Rob Pettis (Trustee)

    Rob Pettis is Executive Creative Director of Skiver, a full-service advertising agency that builds brands through integrated, strategic, and creative campaigns. Starting his career
    as a copywriter at Foote, Cone, & Belding, Rob quickly rose through
    the ranks of agencies including Y&R and O’Leary & Partners. Along the way, he has had the pleasure to take the lead on a variety of brands including UCI, Mattel, In-N-Out Burger, Del Taco, Kawasaki, and Live Nation.

    Born and raised in Newport Beach, CA, Rob graduated from the University of Colorado, Boulder with a B.A. in Journalism and honed his craft at the Portfolio Center in Atlanta, GA. He and his wife, Jennifer, live in Laguna Beach with their two daughters, one a
    Pegasus student (’23) and the other a Pegasus grad (’19). Outside of work and family, Rob enjoys golf, playing cards, and watching the Lakers. He also serves as a Community Emergency Response Team leader in his neighborhood, which comes with a walkie-talkie. Kind of a big deal.

  • Edi Thimons (Past President of the Parent Teacher Organization, Trustee, and Chair of the Mission Committee)

    Edi has served on the PTO Executive Committee as PTO President 2018-19 and PTO President-Elect 2017-18, VP of Volunteers, and as Secretary. She has volunteered in many capacities at The Pegasus School since moving to Orange County in 2010. Her many roles and committee responsibilities have included: Parent Ambassador, Spring Benefit Committee, Strategic Planning Committee, Room Parent, End of Year Celebration Chair, Staff Appreciation Chair, and RUN.GIVE.SERVE. lead. Outside of The Pegasus School, she is a member of the Executive Committee of the Laguna Playhouse Youth Theatre. 

    Edi grew up near Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She attended The Pennsylvania State University, where she graduated with a BS in Business Logistics. Prior to moving to Orange County, Edi worked and lived in Washington D.C., New York City, and Chicago. She served as a Technology Consultant in business process design and demand planning for Manugistics, Inc. and as an independent consultant at a publishing company in New York City. Edi has previously held volunteer positions with The Junior League of Chicago and the Auxiliary Board of the Lincoln Park Zoo.

    Edi and her husband, Josh, have three daughters and one son: Pegasus alumnus, Ella (’19) and Olivia (’22), and current student Maeve (’26) and baby Theodore at home.

  • Nancy Wilder (Eighth Grade English Teacher)

    Nancy joined the Pegasus community in 2007 as the eighth-grade English teacher. Before she came to Pegasus, she taught both middle school and high school, primarily in private schools. She attended Wheaton College, where she earned a B.A. in literature and a teaching credential. In addition, she received an M.A. in English from California State University, Fullerton. At Pegasus, Nancy appreciates the enthusiasm, creativity, and humor of students. Her interests include reading and writing, exploring the culinary arts, and cheering for Cleveland sports teams.

The Pegasus School is a coed, non-profit, nonsectarian day school in Huntington Beach, California, that serves students in pre-Kindergarten through Grade 8. A Pegasus education equips bright, motivated students to achieve future academic success and make a positive impact on society.
