Guidelines for Success

  • Be responsible for your device at all times.
  • Bring your device to school every day, charged and ready to go.
  • Keep personal information (passwords, account numbers, home address, etc.) private.
  • Report any damages, malfunctions, or misuse of any laptop to your teacher, parents, and/or the IT department and do not attempt to fix them.
  • Make sure that there is always room on the device for the educational programs and apps.

Technology Acceptable Use Policy

The Technology Acceptable Use Policy (TAUP) can be found on the Pegasus School Handbook website. By sending your child to Pegasus, you have already agreed to abide by these rules. Anyone using the school’s network consents to monitoring and adherence to school rules and codes of conduct. Access to the network on campus is provided for educational purposes only and is a privilege, not a right. The privilege to use or access the network on campus may be revoked at any time for any reason deemed appropriate by Pegasus faculty and/or administrators. Even one incident of unacceptable conduct can result in revocation of privileges for a time period to be determined by the nature of the misconduct. Violations of this policy, or any willful act designed to disrupt information technology, may result in disciplinary action such as revocation of privileges and/or confiscation of the device. Although the devices are the property of our families, we reserve the right to determine how the devices are used while on school property. In addition, should we determine that a student is violating the AUP, we may confiscate the device for a period of time determined by faculty and administration.
