Artwork of the Week 5/26

Seventh- and eighth-grade students in the Community Art Elective worked to create a collaborative large scale painting that captures this peaceful and inspiring image of a childhood school experience. The group worked together to design and finish this acrylic on canvas piece which they have titled “Roots to Grow.”

PEG FEST — June 12

Scream and shout! School is almost out! The Pegasus PTO is closing out the 2023-2024 school year with our much anticipated PEG FEST event on Wednesday, June 12. We have a fun day planned for grades 1-7 filled with games, a rock wall, a dunk tank, a DJ, and more! Our pre-k and kindergarten students will enjoy a magic show, bounce house, and balloon artist, just to name a few.

Please have your student wear sneakers, a comfortable outfit, and plenty of sunscreen.

In order to pull off this epic event, we need our wonderful community to come together and help make it a success! Please click here to sign up to volunteer on the day of the event. We can't wait to celebrate our students’ hard work this year and send them off to summer in true Pegasus style!

The end of Semester 2 is just around the corner, and exams for Grades 7 and 8 are scheduled for Monday, June 10. Upon arrival, sixth-grade students should head directly to their regular first period classes, while seventh-grade and eighth-grade students should head directly to their assigned tutorial classrooms. Students who are taking exams should have already received exam reviews, and further exam preparation will be offered in their respective classes during the week prior to exams. Sixth-grade students will have a regularly scheduled day; however, seventh-grade and eighth-grade students will have a 12:20 dismissal after exams.

Due to a morning faculty meeting, there will be an optional late start for Middle School students.

  • Option one will be to have an 8:35–8:45 AM drop-off time for an 8:50 start. This may be a good opportunity to schedule early appointments or just to have a slower start to your morning.

  • Option two will be to drop off your student at the regular drop-off time between 7:45 and 7:50 AM as usual. Students will report to a grade-level tutorial before their 8:50 AM start time.
