In September, eighth-grade artists received a blank piece of white paper and a few stamp pads in various colors. They were given 20 minutes to create anything they wanted using only their hands and the ink pads. At the start of each subsequent quarter, artists received a different medium and an artwork from an artist in a previous rotation, respectively: watercolor, colored pencil, collage. Layer by layer the works of September to April were created.
