On May 22, the top 1% of over 50,000 nationwide participants advanced to compete in Columbus, Ohio, for the inaugural Geography Challenge National Championship. The event was filled with intense competition, incredible knowledge, and a true celebration of geographic mastery.

Representing our school with ultimate distinction, our very own Hartley P. competed in the fiercely contested 7th-grade division. After navigating rounds of rigorous geographic analysis and rapid-fire questions, Hartley earned Runner-Up honors in the 7th Grade National Championship!

To qualify for this inaugural event was an incredible feat in itself, but to finish at the very top is a monumental achievement. Hartley’s dedication, hours of study, and passion for understanding our world truly paid off, placing him at the absolute top tier of 7th-grade geographers nationwide.
