On Friday, October 29, Lower School students successfully participated in the Pegasus PTO's signature community service event, FALL SERVE, by assembling “Birthday Boxes” for local youth in Orange County who may be experiencing homelessness. This service opportunity was conceived in partnership with Project Hope Alliance, a local non-profit organization whose mission is to end the cycle of homelessness, one child at a time. A child celebrating a birthday while under Project Hope Alliance's care will receive a birthday box filled with treats, gifts and supplies to remark the special occasion. To prepare for FALL SERVE, Pegasus students Prek through 5th partook in an informative webinar with Jennifer Friend, the CEO of Project Hope Alliance, which can be viewed here. The Pegasus PTO is grateful for the support of our faculty, staff and parent volunteers in making this a fun, impactful, and inspiring day of service year after year.
