Pegasus Daily Pilot Soccer Teams Win Tournament

The student athletes who represented Pegasus in the 2019 Daily Pilot Cup youth soccer tournament, held May 28 – June 2, won their division title match!
The Pegasus fifth- and sixth-grade boys' team (coached by Mr. Richard Juge, Mr. Malcolm Welford, and eighth grader Max Welford) won the tournament's Gold Division after defeating St. Joachim Elementary School, 1-0.

The third- and fourth-grade girls' team (coached by Mr. Shaunak Desai, Mrs. Lisa Spasov and eighth grader Charlotte Juge) won the Bronze Division after defeating Andersen Elementary School, 3-2.

Both teams played hard and represented Pegasus well during the 19th annual Pilot Cup, held at Jack R. Hammett Sports Complex in Costa Mesa. Read the full story in the June 2 issue of the Daily Pilot.
