Geography Bee Winners

On January 10, 10 students competed in the Pegasus Geography Bee and performed exceptionally well! Eighth grader Ian R. placed first, sixth grader Sascha P. placed second and eighth grader Maximilian R. placed third. Students in fourth through eighth grades participated in the event.

First-place winner Ian will move on to complete an online State GeoBee qualifying test. Qualifiers will be announced on March 2 on NatGeoBee.org/results. The State GeoBee will be held on March 27 and the National Championship will be held in Washington D.C. in May (exact dates TBA).
