    Be a part of an strings orchestra at Pegasus. The fundamentals of string playing will be introduced in this dynamic new class. Students will receive conservatory quality instruction that will be introduced at age-appropriate levels and pacing.

No experience necessaryAn  intermediate orchestra may be designed for more experienced players if the interest is presented. Throughout the school year, the orchestra will be exploring classical, fiddle, and movie music.     Superb chess instruction catered to each child's needs at all levels. All students will receive two chess workbooks customized to their skill level as well as chess related prizes for every student. Trophies will be given to the winners of the end of session tournaments. Playing chess can help increase IQ and teaches children to: gain confidence, think deeply, solve problems and develop patience. A minimum of 10 students are required to prevent cancellation.

    Children are economists! Economics is the study of choices people make to be happy. Children do this everyday when they decide which shirt to wear, which TV show to watch and what to eat for lunch. In Discovering Economics, students will learn about major economic principles through games, real-life examples and team discussions. In doing so, students will better understand the world around them, how business is done and how the economy functions. With a solid foundation of how the world works, children can apply the same reasoning skills to make better, more informed choices.

    Learn how to play Lacrosse! Here is an opportunity for boys & girls of all ages to start learning the game of Lacrosse. South Coast Storm Lacrosse trains top players from all over Orange County, both High School and Youth. This program is designed to be fun along with being productive. We want all the kids involved in our program to eventually want to play lacrosse full-time in the spring. We play games along with implementing drills that will teach how the game is supposed to be played.  Our sport specific training method was built on the foundation of Applied Functional Science and accommodates any person from any sport or background. Our athletic drills and techniques used in lacrosse can be used in multiple other sports, and many parents have said that their kid is an all-around better athlete after completing this program.

    Coach Ati Seifi is a nationally highest ranked coach, has an M.A in Physical Education & Sport Science, and over 25 years of competitive fencing training and couching.

    At Super Soccer Stars, it is our goal to teach soccer skills in a fun, non-competitive, educational environment. Our philosophy is to use soccer to nurture, to build self-confidence, and to develop teamwork in every class. Our specially designed curricula use positive reinforcement and a low child-to-coach ratio to ensure that each child improves at his or her own rate while having endless fun.

    Coach K is back with an all new curriculum! Five weeks of groundstrokes, five weeks of volleys and overheads, and four weeks of serves/returns. Students will learn the fundamentals of the game in an atmosphere of discipline, fun, and competition. Class is  limited to 10 children so please register today! Wait-list is utilized. All tennis equipment will be age appropriate and supplied by Coach Kevin.

    Mrs. Goldhamer and Mrs. Wilson invite students in fourth through eighth grade to participate in this fun musical! The first rehearsal will be on 9/27 and auditions will be on 10/4 (call-backs possible: Friday, 10/5). There is a mandatory Saturday tech rehearsal on March 9th from 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Shows take place on Thursday, March 14 and there will be a cast party that day from 3:45 to 5:15 p.m. Students will stay on campus for the party in advance of that evening’s 6:30 p.m. show. Join us for this thrilling theatrical adventure!

    Science has proven that practicing mindfulness improves children's learning abilities, emotional well-being and happiness. Students will learn to direct and calm their minds and emotions. The postures and mindfulness tools will be taught in a fun and age appropriate way. Students will learn to connect deeper with their naturally peaceful inner-selves.     

    Students will:                                                                                           
    • Gain confidence and self-esteem
    • Learn to communicate thoughtfully
    • Practice yoga postures which promote body awareness, balance and good health
    • Learn breathing techniques that calm the nervous system and mind
    • Meditate to realize their potential and gain clarity and focus                
    • Participate in fun yoga games                                                            
    • Older children learn to journal and advanced energy enhancing meditation for teens.
    • Children leave class happy, refreshed and positive!
