The Pegasus School prides itself on its extracurricular athletics program which begins in Grade 4. We regard this program as a vital part of a student's educational experience. Athletics play an important role in adolescent development as they encourage students to:

• Develop lessons in sportsmanship and teamwork
• Demonstrate dedication
• Collaborate and compete with others
• Build individual athletic skills

Opportunities to participate in sports are made available to all students. Although not all students may participate at the competitive level, every student may participate in sports through skills teams. The Pegasus School athletics program competes in the Developmental Sports League (DSL) program for Grades 4–6 and the Tri-Way League for Grades 6–8. The Tri-Way League consists of 12 other private schools throughout Orange County.
