  • What do teachers think about this project?

    • The faculty is supportive of campus improvements because they allow them to broaden their creative approaches to teaching and will enhance how faculty members develop curriculum and use our spaces.
  • Why is it important that Pegasus make these improvements?

    • Out-of-date facilities can limit educational programs, prompting us to ask, “What could be possible with enhanced facilities for our students?”
    • The Board is focused on efficient improvements that directly enhance the student experience at Pegasus. Pegasus' facilities must match the quality curriculum that is in place. While staying true to our roots, we must remain competitive with other similar Orange County independent, private schools.
  • Why is the school opting for a rebuild instead of a renovation?

    • Pegasus makes improvements to campus annually, bringing every building along as far as we can, but sometimes new buildings are necessary to meet the needs of our curriculum and programs.
  • Will we be able to add more students once the project is complete?

    • We are at the maximum number of students allowed on our campus. This project is not about adding students, but about enhancing our facilities for current students.
  • Will Pegasus increase tuition to cover the cost of the project?

    • Capital Campaign projects are not included when decisions are made about tuition. Building projects are funded separately.
  • How will construction impact student lives at Pegasus?

    • We plan our projects thoughtfully in order to minimize disruption for students and families at Pegasus.
    • We have chosen Snyder-Langston as our building contractor because they have extensive experience in building both schools and projects in occupied spaces.
